87th Annual Academy Awards – Nominaciones
Hoy, 15 de enero de 2015, por primera vez la academia a anunciado las 24 categorías de sus premios en directo, en abierto. Alfonso Cuarón y J.J. Abrams anunciaron en primer lugar 11 categorías, y minutes después Chris Pine junto con la Presidenta de la Academia, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, han hecho públicas las nominaciones a las 13 categorías restantes.
La retransmisión de la Ceremonia de entrega de Premios será el Domingo, 22 de Febrero de 2015 en el Dolby Theatre™ en el Hollywood & Highland Center® en Hollywood, presentada por Neil Patrick Harris, y será televisada, por la cadena de televisión ABC a más de 225 países.
Los Premios Honoríficos (Governors Awards) se entregaron el pasado 8 de Noviembre durante una cena en los 6th Annual Governors Awards. Se otorgaron los Honorary Awards (Oscars Honoríficos) a Jean-Claude Carrière (Guionista), Hayao Miyazaki (Artista, Guionista, Director y Productor) y la Actriz Maureen O’Hara. El Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award se entregó a Harry Belafonte (Actor, Productor, Cantante y Activista). Los Premios Científicos y Técnicos se presentarán en una gala independiente el 7 de Febrero de 2015.
Proyecciones oficiales de todas las películas emepezarán, a partir del 24 de Enero, para los todos los Académicos, en Los Angeles, Nueva York, San Francisco y Londres.
Todos los miembros activos de la Academia tienen derecho a votar en todas las categorías.
