91st Annual Academy Awards – Nominaciones
Hoy, 22 de enero de 2019, la academia ha anunciado las 24 categorías de sus premios en directo.
Kumail Nanjiani y Tracee Ellis Ross, han hecho públicas las nominaciones de las distintas categorías. Les han acompañado .
La retransmisión de la Ceremonia de entrega de Premios será el Domingo, 24 de Febrero de 2019, en el Dolby Theatre™ en el Hollywood & Highland Center® en Hollywood, y será televisada por la cadena de televisión ABC a más de 225 países. Este año no habrá presentador durante la gala.
Los Premios Honoríficos (Governors Awards) se entregaron el pasado 18 de Noviembre durante una cena en los 10th Annual Governors Awards. Se otorgaron los Honorary Awards (Oscars Honoríficos) al publicista Marvin Levy, al compositor Lalo Schifrin y a la actriz Cicely Tyson. Se concedió el premio Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award a los productores Kathleen Kennedy y Frank Marshall.
Los Premios Científicos y Técnicos se presentarán en una gala independiente el 9 de Febrero de 2019.
Todos los miembros activos de la Academia, dentro de cada una de sus ramas, votan en sus respectivas categorías para elegir a los nominados. Las categorías de Mejor Película de Animación y Mejor Película en Lengua Extranjera, las nominadas son seleccionadas por un comité de visionado formado por miembros de distintas ramas. Todo los miembros con derecho a voto son elegibles para votar las nominadas a Mejor Película.
Todos los miembros en activo de la Academia pueden votar para elegir a los ganadores en las 24 categorías.
